Bless you and this poor little pup! I am in tears how could someone do that to a sweet innocent yorkie or any dog for that matter.

I have a yorkie i have my share of minor health problems. He has a bladder stone and had a few seziures within the last 4 years. Based on my research and experience cat food is the worst to feed dogs, very high in proteins and basically garbage also commerical canned dog food is bad as well. Teddy was put on the HIlls medical preventative wet dog food after we discovered his stone. He hated it and eventually stopped eating it. I was soo worried and after hours and hours of research and buying several books including "The nature of animal healing" by Martin Goldstein" which i recommend you buy and read it is an amazing book that you can read over and over again. Before reading this book i began to feed teddy raw or barf pre-made mattys or medallions from Healthy paws.

All i have to say is i will never take him off raw food if anything i will cook for him. His coat is shiny, bright eyes and appears to be happy and full of life.

What triggered me to write to you is that Teddy had his last seziure during a horrible thunderstorm.

I would advise that you be calm with this breed, they are very sensitive and esp what your little guy went through hell and those previous owners should get prosectued for animal curelty. If i had there information i would do it myself.

Yorkies are fragile but very loving. Remember do your research, they are prone to liver shunts, poor teeth, and bladder issues.

I hope this helps and guides you to learning about this unbelievably amazing breed of dogs.

And remember hold your yorkie tight when theres a thunderstorm.
