Wow, that is scary and the dog is so lucky. Glad it was a happy ending. And this story is a great reminder. I hear the owls all the time when I take my dogs out for a potty break after dark. We also have large hawks and coyotes for daytime danger. We never could keep cats and kittens around and we always gave the coyotes, bobcats, owls, and hawks credit for that.
