Well said. Definately seeing the parents or at least mum is the most important thing. When we went to see Alfie, mum and dad were both there. Mum was so well socialised and came up to me for a cuddle. Dad just liked to bark. Mum is KC registered but dad isn't so Alfie can't be but we were more than happy with the parents and puppies and we don't intend to show and Alfie will be neutered. I know it is important to some people. My parents were ones for having to have pedigree puppies and both dogs we had as children weren't trained or socialised, would pull like a train when out walking. I think unless you want to breed or you want to show then it doesn't really matter. As long as you have seen the mother with the puppies. But as everything its an individual thing.
