Once my family was getting together and I had Capone with me. I was holding him and my 4 yr old niece was petting him and he did a little relaxed grunt and then she punched him! She thought he was growling at her, but I was so angry (she's so cute so I couldn't be mad for too long). Every since then I don't like for kids to get too comfortable around my baby. Maybe a quick pet and thats it. I'm sure it may be different since they will actually be living with the dog though.
