My gorgeous Chico is 3 1/2 years old and he got Auto Inmmune Anemia 1 1/2 week ago. We took him to the vet but they were closed on Saturday and we took him to Petsmart. Big mistake they sent us home with medicines, He was vomiting and getting worse. We took him to the vet on Monday. Thanks God! He had his blood levels at 10%. We should go to the hospital the same day we went to Petsmart He went to emergency Monday night, got a transfusion and stayed in the hospital until this Monday. He had some kidney problems, his BUN values were super super high, but now they are closer to normal. Any advice you can give me to take care of him at home and make him feel recovered soon? Any place where I can get recipes to cook him at home. The vet told me to do boiled chicken with potatoes, carrots and some pasta. Our baby looks so much better than 1 week ago.
