I agree its all about knowing your own dogs personalities. Alfie was always abit OTT, not particularly dominant, just into getting as much fun out of life as he can. Thats why we opted for a bitch, he gets on with males and females outside but gets a bit huffy when they enter the house, though I dont let him act territorial. Rosie is a sweety, rarely barks, loves everyone, but very submissive to more dominant dogs. Perfect match. Were planning on adding #3 sometime next year which hopefully be another girl, but her personality will have to fit in with the others. |
