For example, in the Yorkie, I don't like that the standard is simply not to exceed 7 pounds, which means that a 1-2lb dog is "standard" for a Yorkie. I personally think that is no life for a dog and not healthy, yet they continue to get smaller and smaller. It seems nowadays all a dog show is for the owners to parade around showing off their dogs. I'm sorry if my comment offends anybody and I understand this doesn't apply to every person who enjoys dog showing, I understand for some it's more of a hobby. My idea of a dog show... to see Golden Retrievers retrieving, Border Collies herding, Pointers hunting, Yorkies ratting... what they were originally BRED and intended to do, not be parading around a ring and molded and shaped into the human desires of how a dog is supposed to look.

The one man in that video said that dogs used to be judged by how well they did what they were bred for, but now it is nothing but a beauty pagent. And we all know how much fake there is in those.
