I have a dominant, alpha-like male Westie and EVERYONE, including the breeder, steered me to a dog of the opposite sex.
If he were more happy go lucky - maybe it wouldn't have mattered so much.
Supposedly opposite sex dogs will not fight as much over territory.
I don't know. Anyway, it worked for us! |
