I've taken my little one camping a couple of times now. The first time we were in a RV and it was no problem. Just like home. The second time was in a tent and it was actually a fun experience. We use cots in the tent and I had mad a sleeping area under the cot with his bed and a bunch of blankets. Of course he never touched it and crawled into my sleeping bag with me.
It was really cold the second night and we had to run the little buddy to keep things warm and he knocked the heater over once but then he left it alone after that.
I made a camping bag for him with a separate cooler for his food. The only thing I wish I had brought with me was a mat to put his food on. He tends to be a fussy and will only eat if his food is on the ground. Don't ask me why.

This looks like a great thing to have for camping.
