Gosh, I have been following Gen and Cookies story "my baby is missing and I don't know what to do" and your post just made me realize, I need to put together a kit just in case one of my guys was to get away. I would't have photos of perhaps longer or shorter hair cuts with me so I am thinking of getting some photos and making up a flyer that I can carry with the rabies certificate that has my current phone numbers. Time is so important when one of them goes missing. I figure if I have the base, I could add the current facts and any of the offices would allow me to copy what I had so I could be passing out flyers within 15 minutes of losing them. The one good thing about campers, is if one has a problem 3/4's of the campground is at the others aid. We have camped for over 20 years and my poodle went out the door with my husband, he didn't know it until he came back in from hooking up all the lines (at night) we frantically went outside, Good old Keisha went into about a $250,000 rig and jumped into the middle of their couch. Our Little 24ft $3000 piece of yuck just wasn't her style apparently because she had no desire to come home. This could have been a disaster, and I wouldn't have been able to get flyers out until the next morning. Thanks for the post and the eye opener question!!!!!! Sharon |
