yup- it is safe. how much does she weigh? Layla is 6 lbs and i give her 1/4 of an adult regular strength(25 mg) pill. I just hide it in a treat.
it is harder to get the liquid in them but if you go to the pharmacy you can get an eye dropper and she can have 1-2mg per pound
