Wow! I hope things work out for you but yeah if daddy was sold with limited, the litter would not be able to be AKC registered.
Can I ask who the breeder was?
She is a very beautiful pup, tho, thats for sure. Were you planning to breed?

My practice, as a breeder...is once my litter is whelped, I wait 1 week to make sure all pups are thriving and well and then I get my litter registered. I get them in the mail within one week of submitting the registration online.
I always include the AKC papers in the puppy packet I hand out.

Hopefully you get your papers!

I was told that he was sold on Limited Registration and should not have been bred. Someone told me if that is true then his litter is not able to be registered. I'm thinking this is why no papers. We didn't know any of this at the time of purchase.

We also didn't know at time of purchase that Brooke was being sold to us on Limited Registraton. I hate to admit it but we paid $2500 for her and you would think for that price she would have had full breeding rights. Not that we'd breed her, she's going to be small, but I do think that ALL of this should have been told to us or put in a contract.

There was no sale contract. All I have is her shot records, weight history, and a statement from my credit card company showing what was paid for her and who it was paid to. Thank God we did put her on our Credit Card or there would have been no record of any of this.

I guess we'll see what happens.

Thanks again.
