I would have to agree. I think that you were so mad at the moment that you were not thinking clear. You said that this child was 5 so he should have know better well yes and no. 1st he is only 5 and not all 5 year olds are created equal they are all at different maturity rates maybe this child has not grown up around small animals. If I were you I would apologize to your friend and just explain that you were really upset at the time. I have to say that if you would have done that to my kid I would be a little upset with how you handled the situation also.
