I agree. Toy breed dogs and small children are not a good mix. Even if your children are okay with your dog, you cannot trust other small children. You need to confine him when you have children over to keep him safe.

Remember, if he had bitten in fear or self defense, legally it would have been considered his fault and it would have to be reported. Dogs who bite face euthanasia. You could also end up with a lawsuit.
