Also i read in the article that salmon oil is the best source of omega 3 to give a dog esp those with kidney/bladder problems. Flaxseed oil has omega 6 and can be harmful according to the above kindey article posted by tjdmom btw thanks again.

I recommend you read overall it gives you an understanding about a dogs body, nutrition and an outlook on commercial foods.
