 You should wait!!!
Without knowing your age, but I assume young. You really need to consider what the next 5 years might be like for you. First of all, getting your own place, most young people rent. Renters will sometimes allow A pet not two. If you were to go ahead and get another buddy and want to move out, you might then have to decide, give up a pet or chose another place you don't like as well. Since your parents said no, If I were you I would just give the one you have a little more love and attention until you get your own place and respect your parents wishes at this time. Of course you are most likely like every other young lady and can bat your eyes and get them to say yes!!!!! By the way, didn't you say you have Two already???So they have a playmate, If this is the case I think you should wait!! Good luck on your decision. Sharon |
