first off yo should diffently not let him near any stairs ever! its very dangerous espically because there so little he many have gotten hurt?? did you take him to the vet?? when i first got capone my grandma dropped him he was so scared but he was fine after some love and cuddling ...i dont want to scare you but there a chance he might have hurt himself there like babys when there puppys there head are soft im sure its nothing that cant be fixed
you should just take him in for a check up and tell the doctor what happend
also with the food is it diffrent from the food he was previously being fed? he may just not like it you should try a diffrent brand
im sure your baby will be fun and playful again soon! just give him lots of love and affection and make sure he feels safe and hell be wonderful you guys just need to bond!
