I'm afraid Orinske is probably right. They will probably butcher the tree if it suits them. My husband used to be a landscaper and he says the only thing to do is to plant new trees well away from the power lines. He says the life expectancy for trees in the urban forest is nowhere near the life expectancy for other trees of the same species mostly because of compacted soil, pollution, etc., but power company trimming sure doesn't help. |
