When Tuffy had surgery years ago, my vet told me if you ever get another yorkie, make sure it atleast 5 lb. The small that are the more expensive they will be when it comes to vet care especially with surgery.
I know this one.. Punken and Breese were to be around 5 lb but as they were growing, Punken managed to get too 5.9lb and Breese got to 3.7lb.
With Breese her weight averages between 3.3 to 3.7 I really keep a close eye on her.

me too.I get yorkies that will be 5-6 pounds to insure that they will be healthy as a bull. My yorkies so far on the growth chart is estimated to be around 4.5-5 pounds...
