Well...All I can say is here we go again.

I know we all describe our yorkies affectionately & most of us DO NOT USE those terms...I think the terms are marketing tools and used to increase prices when people are selling their puppies -

People ask me all the time about Chanel's breeder (who uses the word teacup and believe me - Chanel's Breeder does NOT sell small yorkies) ....

She also uses the words DOLL FACE and her yorkies look just like all our yorkies - no different to me than any yorkie I see here - It is a MAJOR selling tool on her website - Her yorkies are average and actually on the large side - it sure doesn't stop her from throwing descriptive words around - AND getting away with it

I happened to get VERY lucky with Chanel as I think she is a gorgeous little girl - when I found her - I went by how I FELT when I met her... and no WORD would have made me love her more or more special to me

I THINK Cheri has what is called a Doll face - When I went to a yorkie show many of the gorgeous yorkies there had the same face as Cheri....but again....You won't see me using the words Baby Doll....I just call her CUTE.

ps. Baby Doll and Teacup and other words are a great way for a breeder to tack on a few thousand when selling their puppies - it does NOT guarantee that you will get a healthy pretty yorkie -
I'm not saying breeders here do this - but look on the net - it's a SELLING TOOL and yorkies are getting outrageously priced due to going smaller and words such as what this thread is about.
