Hi all,
We live in Stevens Point, WI. Have a 2 yr old male CKC registered Yorkie. He is CKC because his breeder did not register his Mom before she was over a year. He is actually AKC on both sides. Working with the new program AKC has started to trace ancestry and re register dogs with documented AKC ancestry.
I see a few "real" Yorkies around here, but there are tons of the designer breeds ( mostly Yorkie / somethings". Would love to stud Onegus. He is right on for AKC standard for the breed and has the sweetest temperment ever. Would also like to find a young female Yorkie ( just over a yr) to purchase so we can breed our own. Thought of getting a puppy, but since he is already 2, and raring to go, that would mean about 2 years of guarding her before she was mature enough, and he would be 4 by that time.
