LOL...... that tree is silly looking....
I am going to tell you something though..... i HIGHLY DOUBT that the workers are going to take the time to read youre very well thought out note, they will probably trim as they please and then leave, the end. .. . The only way you are going to get your way is to call their boss and schedule something.

Another tree trimming story: the city trimmed my parents tree because there was a branch that was posing danger to their house.... the tree is very old and JUST off my parents property. The workers cut the branch (without notification) and let the branch fall into my parents front yard. Well, my mom has LOTS of pots and plants and yard ornaments ect... all over the place and upon further inspection we discovered that they had broken two very large pots that held some small fruit trees, the bird bath was tipped and broken and several other things..... but did anything come of it? NOoooooooooooo the city pretty much said "tough luck"
