 new mom doesnt spend time with puppies
my 6 lbs yorkie had a c-section 1 week ago giving us 7 puppies.I own the 3lbs male also and they have never breed untill now.This is our first experience with puppies.When we brought them home she was a wonderfull mom.hardly ever left them.yesterday she really slowed down on eating and she has been laying out side of the whelping bed.I have been offering the puppies a milk supplement some times some drink alittle and some times not.Last night my husband gave abbey some puppy milk and this morning shes vomiting up milk.Im just woundering if shes sick or do they sometimes act like that.We weight the babies 2 and 3 times a day and they all have been gaining alittle.after one week they have gained alittle over 1 oz.Is that enough?help please |
