Wow I had forgotten about this thread until I got an email saying someone had replied to it. As someone else said about the false pregnancy recurrance. My Kissa had another one and ended up with emergency surgery to spay her because she developed mastitus or however it is spelled. Was REALLY bad for her but she recovered quickly. Thankfully we have dog insurance as it was quite costly.
If your dog has it just keep an eye on her teets if she develops milk to make sure that they don't get infected.We got a new this year and we are worried about her first heat as a result of the situation with Kissa but are hesitant to get her spayed because we might want to breed her as she is purebred. |
