there are so many that claim to be dog savvy and have not a clue on a puppy
it needs its rest it needs time to adjust to its new surroundings and feeding schedule it is a baby even adult dog sometimes take longer to adjust to a new home new breeder old breeder we learn about the things we need to watch for and be very pedicular to whom we sell to i do not like to see any puppy with cocci or any other health issue but it happens and even if you explain to the new puppy owner everything and give them loads of material to read and learn about
some just go home and do what they see fit anyway
but i truly hope this little puppy op has a very long healthy life and i am so sorry you have had such a long hard road to hoe with this baby
You are so right. I do know of a reputable breeder that was chastised because the new puppy owner brought her puppy home and 3 days later had an outburst of coccidia.......The puppy was healthy and outgoing in it's own surrounding...but, taken to a new home.....away from it's siblings, mother and breeder, stressful for a new puppy. I know the breeder on a personal basis and had been to her home on numerous occassions....immaculate......

I know that traveling to to shows and putting my seasoned dogs in a new environment, the first night they won't eat......They're with me, but it's a new location, not familiar with....however, mild it maybe it is still stressful...away from their normal routine.
