I'm am a pretty tough woman but I am a nervous wreck about bringing her home today and don't have confidence in my ability to take care of her. It just seems like there is SO much that could go wrong that could cost her her life. I would never ever forgive myself.
I get to pick her up at 3 & I hope I can hold it together..... Say a little prayer for my girl!

I am sure you will be just great with her! The first time you deal with heartworm treatment is very scary. Just keep her quiet and all will go fine. The split treatment is the best way to go imo. I am glad they are doing that with your Sophie.
I will say prayers for her...and for you. I know how intimidating it is.
