Oh....yes, that shot is terribly painful. The injection is given deep in a muscle in their lower back. They are usually sent home with an anti-inflammatory to help with the discomfort and to try to prevent swelling which often occurs.
Little Fiona goes Monday for her first shot. She is a drama queen and carried on something fierce with her other shots, so I am not looking forward to this. Poor little thing.
