 Sweet Sophie started HW treatment today....
I took, my rescue, Sweet Sophie to the vet this morning for her first heartworm treatment. I was almost in tears when I left...knowing the pain she was going to go through. She'll have to have 2 more shots in a month....
I'm am a pretty tough woman but I am a nervous wreck about bringing her home today and don't have confidence in my ability to take care of her. It just seems like there is SO much that could go wrong that could cost her her life. I would never ever forgive myself.
I get to pick her up at 3 & I hope I can hold it together..... Say a little prayer for my girl! |
