A little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing! I am a retired nurse...worked oncology/hematology for a few years and I SO understand your fears. I had pneumonia once....prior to the diagnosis I was convinced it was lung cancer. Scary field to work in!
I will say a prayer for you and your Skittles. It probably is something very benign!
