Default Found lumps in my Yorkie's throat

Greetings. I hate to enter a forum with a topic such as this but I must.

Last night we noticed two lumps, one on either side of our 7 year old's (named Skittles) throat. I assume they are swollen lymph nodes and I am dearly hoping this is nothing more serious than an infection. He has been eating and drinking fine, barking, basically acting like his normal self but I am concerned about this.

Thinking it might me lymphoma I found the locations on the other lymph nodes and I don't believe any of them are swollen. The only location I am concerned about is the groin since I am not sure exactly where to feel. But I found nothing on the chest (including under the shoulders) and nothing on the hind legs, which I take as a potentially encouraging sign.

I have noticed no unusual coughing (he has a slight heart problem which can cause occasional coughing), he's not vomiting, his stools seem normal. The only other symptom was, we noticed this weekend while out of town he would make kind of a snorting sound on some breaths. We assumed he probably had allergies or maybe even a "cold" or whatever similar minor respiratory infection a dog might get.

We have an appointment with the vet in the morning, but I can't rest on this until then. Does anyone have any other suggestions for things to look for?
