Thank you ,Mardelin, sooooo much for all your help. You are so generous with your vast knowledge. Gina and I both appreciate you. I feel the whelping went really well and we both learned alot. It was my third delivery (only one has been mine and we ended up with a C section)...and each time I feel like I learn a ton!

Hey Deb, my vet is not fond of the oxy shot either, so he did not give my girl one either, my holistic vet told me to give her 1/2 a cup of red rabsberry leaf tea, as soon as you can after whelping and then another 1/2 a cup for 3 days every other day. I been doing that with all my girls, it cleans out anything that is left inside mama and also helps with milk production. My girl is doing great, so just a suggestion in case you want to give it to your girl, just to make sure all the gook is out..
