At one time we thought we would go to Alaska every seven weeks, home two, and so on, so I ask Mike (Alaska Yorkie) what type of boots I should get and he said the wool booties, then if it's wet out, put the other boots over the wool ones. These are the boots my girls have, and I believe it's what Mikes kids wear in Alaska. Extreme Climate Boots - Your Store Online |
Really?! What size did you get? I got "TINY", and they're perfect! She uses them when the grass is wet (rain or dew) and they keep her tootsies dry!
I've been talking to Mike (we're trying to plan a meetup), and he told me about some fleece booties that he uses now. They're sold in a store there in Anchorage, and I guess a lady makes them. I can't wait to see what they're like! I bet they're MUCH better than either of what I have!!
