You were in the wrong IMHO. I'm sure your dog is a sweet little angel and would never hurt a fly, I'm not meaning to imply your dog specifically, just dogs in general should NOT be in public places without being on a leash or properly contained. It's dangerous, and it's wrong to treat dogs like human children instead of pets.
Yeah, the woman did hide behind her kid but probably because in her head she knew she was safe, it was her heart that was afraid. Even if she did throw her kid in the line of fire...Well..Still doesn't mean dogs should be allowed to roam free as they like.

Just like I said in post #1. This lady is a long time customer who KNEW about Uni, and in my local neighborhood, Uni is FAMOUS for being the "greeting dog", the "coolest yorkie ever", the "oh I want one now b/c she's so cool", the "Oh I just came to see her, not to buy anything". That's the kind of shop I run.
Judge the deed, not the breed??? Uni's deed was to say "Hi, and I want to give you a *hug* b/c it's been months since I've last seen you!" And as far as Uni turning rabid? she's UTD on her shots thank you very much.
