If you purchased them a gift card for pizza and soda , that is a great break for all of them !! Even a coffee and donuts shop near buy is a great idea!! Its no nice to not have to prepare lunch! Even coffee and donuts for the morning is a great thoughtful idea... it will certainly be appreciated trust me they will think about you and how nice you were while they are eating |
I second the gift card idea when it comes to food! Selection varies by area though so you may or may not find something suitable.
Restaurant.com runs some really awesome deals on a regular basis. A good number of their card will cost you about half their value, and they run some super awesome sales. (2-3 weeks ago they had a sale where almost everything was 80% off.) Your area may vary, but I can get gift certificates for most of the local places around me and the average $25 GC runs about $10. (Do check the fine print underneath though, some aren't always a great deal with the restrictions that are set by the restaurant.)
Personally, I would avoid the whole sweets thing if possible unless its gift certificatey because they might get a whole lot of that kind of thing (I know I always seem to be surrounded by sweet things over the holiday.) Maybe something else thats on the healthy side would be nice? (I hesitate to say this lol) A fruit basket? Depending on your budget one of the $30 edible arrangements might be nice... or something coffee/tea related for break time?
