My husband and I are very worried, we chose to change vets due to outrageous estimate for the surgery and teeth removal.
Even changing vets, opting for using laser and Isoflorane, it will be around $600 or so. It seems that the additional charges (even fluids before and during surgery) certainly adds to the total. We needed to feel as comfortable as possible and are thankful that we can manage it.
Just hope this will soon be over, we will both be home and had special permission to take her to the vet's when he is ready for her "trying to avoid any further anxiety and suffering for her"

Praying for you and Celia!!! I know how nerve-wracking it is. I sometimes think it's harder on us than it is them!! She will be just fine and soon enough it will be a distant memory!
