I just made a pm to someone who was recommended to me by someone on yorkietalk to try and make a good contact. I have read several (okay, a lot more than several ) posts and threads containing info about particular people who breed but I'm not the worlds most outgoing person so I guess I'm just nervous! That's really great how you've built such great friendships with abbey, femivstr and sylvan and that really is awesome how that person came back and decided to share old bloodlines with you. I'm going to keep going through threads and posts to try and find more 'contacts'. I really don't know any other means of delving into the yorkie world. I live in Shepherdstown WV and have never heard of a dog show or any well known breeders here. But then again I don't know how to look.. So there ya go! They might be right under my nose and I don't even know it! |
Well Eliza Doolitle I think you got it. You have have made some great progress in contacting this person. It is hard not to be shy- but to win in the show ring and to get where you want you have to overcome that obsticle.
Sorry can't spell tonight.
I wish that I could say that I had worked out my differences with the breeder who turned me down. We did not. Will I be unkind to that person or bad mouth no. Sometime down the road that person may just need what I have or my help. I made other contacts that is how I found the breeder willing to give me her bitch to breed for one time with no strings attached. Like I said there are a lot of good people out there- you just have to get to know them.
Good luck and keep up the learning/
