I can say that I know more nice people in the dog world them those who are unkind. Don't walk arouind with a chip on your shoulder. When you meet some one who is a down in the dumps - poor me person- keep going don't let them drag you down. be positive and be persistant.

Thru this web site I have met abbey, femivstr and sylvan who I consider my best friends. Abbey I have met in person - the other two only by email and phone contact. But you know when it clicks and it is right. Would I do anything for those gals you bet.

I met a gal who has some of my old bloodlines from the 70's- this person has offered me one of her gals to breed- no strings attached to help me get back some of the bloodlines and some of the dogs in a pedigree that I used to own. What a nice person- that is what and who is out there if you are willing to take a chance and work at it. Take your time and get to know folks out there your new best friend is waiting for you. Don'y lock yourself in a closet and miss out on what is going on in the world of yorkies.

Yes mam! It is sometimes intimidating but I'm begining to understand that everyone is only being tough on me because that's the only way to learn. Because breeding isn't for the light hearted and I see now that you really have to push to succeed. I just made a pm to someone who was recommended to me by someone on yorkietalk to try and make a good contact. I have read several (okay, a lot more than several ) posts and threads containing info about particular people who breed but I'm not the worlds most outgoing person so I guess I'm just nervous! That's really great how you've built such great friendships with abbey, femivstr and sylvan and that really is awesome how that person came back and decided to share old bloodlines with you. I'm going to keep going through threads and posts to try and find more 'contacts'. I really don't know any other means of delving into the yorkie world. I live in Shepherdstown WV and have never heard of a dog show or any well known breeders here. But then again I don't know how to look.. So there ya go! They might be right under my nose and I don't even know it!
