Maybe you could have some male friends come over and get him used to trusting men more. I would have them just ignore him but throw a little treat down here and there while he's chatting with you. You could do this at doggie parks too or meet ups. I think most people would be happy to help you. He needs to have more positive associations with men or this could become much worse.
