Well, Abbie saw the vet today. Two actually and neither of them have ever seen anything quite like it! Both agreed though that it was probably a sebacous gland cyst and nothing to worry about. They said if it got bigger or started to drain or bother her, to get her back in. Otherwise, they were more concerned about her weight. She was 3 pounds 4 oz. a few months ago when she was spayed and today weighed in a a whopping 2.75! They've advised me to put her on moist food which she gobbles down rather than her picking at kibble because getting her weight up was more important than her teeth for now. She's always been a picky eater. |
