If not, I'd fix her normal food in a large amount and freeze it in separate serving freezer bags. Then I would take it to the boarding place and let them feed it to her. Hopefully they have a microwave. She will probably not eat well for a few days anyway, from being boarded, but eventually during that time she WILL get hungry and eat what is there for her, leftovers, frozen and all. The little royal princess will adjust, but when her royal servant (that's you mommy) returns home she'll need lots of love from being traumatized from eating that old food  ...LOL! |
I get that all the time, princess/handmaid, little diva, etc. And I would never think of switching her to dog food permanently. I've tried the frozen thawed routine-I trashed more food than she ate. She will be traumatized enough being boarded-wouldn't want her to go a day or two without food so hopefully she will like one of the kibbles suggested.
