Actually she did get to be alittle over 5 pounds but her size was still small compared to what I actually like in a breeding bitch. She had amazing structure, movement and everything else going for her and I had several say she would be fine to even breed BUT for me she was too small is size not weight. While I might breed a bigger bitch everything has to come into play. I could have kept Molly's sister because she had great lines but was a little over the size in standard I didn't want to run into having on the larger side puppies. She had great color, structure and movement and her coat was to die for in texture and color but her personality was a major factor too. She was a little more timid than I like for a breeding female as well.
This is such a hard breed to judge and whew can be very complicated for the show ring. Again, as we've stated many times the only way to really know what is right for the ring is to be out there and do and watch at the shows.

Good Morning Ladies,
I agree with you Donna. Being the nerd that I am, I have read and read and read everything I could find on showing, topknots, coat care, line breeding, and have spent countless hours researching different lines. But absolutely nothing has taught me more than actually going to as many shows as I can and taking my dog in rings after hours and talking with handlers and show exhibitors and helping out when I can (A little advice I got from you, Donna). That is something that cannot be learned online.
So I'm sure I'll see you all soon at some shows and I'll keep working everyday with my crew. I'm so excited.
I do have a question about the show in New York, first are you going and are you showing. Also where is a good place to stay. I want to go to watch.
