Pam, first off I have to say your girl is really pretty. I have to agree with most of what the others have said. She does look a little down faced but sometimes the angle of the camera can make it look that way too, especially if she is looking down.
In the first group of pictures her topline looks good, her rear legs are stretched out pretty good. In the second set of pictures the 2nd and 4th picture she appears a little higher in the rear, shoulders are lower but her rear legs are not stretched out as much. You need really study her movement and see if she is moving level. If you have a video camera and can have someone video you moving her on a lead with head up that will tell you a lot.
As for the ears, my Yogi has similar ears. When he is alert his ear set looks beautiful but if he is tired or unhappy (like in the show ring) he will let his ears down. If your girl has a good attitude and will be alert in the ring it might not hurt her too much.
Like the other ladies said, these are just observations and to really tell one would have to see her in person. Just remember, none of them are perfect. I am really excited for you getting into showing. I think you will do just fine. |
