A good prospective breeder will learn everything they can by adopting a show/breeder mentor, visiting all local dog shows and veraciously read anything and everything about the breed and learning predigrees.

Once that is established and only then will you doors open giving you access to the top bloodlines. Also keep in mind most good bloodlines are NOT going to be sold just for breeding purposes. Most would want your committment in showing in the ring and many would only sell on co-ownership until finished!
I appriciate all the info and am right now working on trying to find a good breeder/mentor in my area that I can learn from and experience things through. Rini has been recommended to me and I plan on contacting her to see if she could even consider taking the time to help me learn and to get these experiences under my belt.

I hope in the bold print that you were speaking solely of people who care nothing about bettering the breed opposed to speaking directly to me as if those are my intentions.
