How much chocolate was it? I personally wouldn't have induced vomiting. Chester ate half of one of those big dark chocolate Hershey bars last year. He climbed up on my counter and had a snack I guess. I called the vet and they said that was not enough to do any harm. I just watched him like a hawk, and nothing ever happened to him. No vomiting or pooing or acting sick or anything.
