There must be a reason.
I didn't use pennies in a can, citronella collars, water squirts, bark repellers, loud noises, etc. In my eyes those are all scare tactics. When Uni barks at me I ask her what she wants. 99% of the time I already know what she wants (playtime). But if I don't, I follow her and say what? what do you want? She will lead me to what it is and then I will know. If you ignore them, they will just continue to bark. |
Believe me, there's no reason.
She always has enough treats, toys (I often buy her new toys), I tried to put her in the living room where we enjoy our evening show (so she won't feel lonely), but she just wouldn't stop barking. Maybe yes, there's one and only way to stop her from barking, it's to place her on my laps.
But I can't put her on my laps for the whole night, I even couldn't go to toilet because she would start to bark if she didn't see me. She has changed a lot in these 2 weeks, there's no reason why she want to stick with me and she chose not to listen to "Quiet"

Please don't get me wrong, of course I love her and would love to have her by my side for whole night, but it didn't work because I have house chores and some work need to be done at night, I couldn't even go to toilet..
Now I have to accompany her every nights, and if I'm not at home, there's no one in my family could stop her. That's why I need to find a way to stop her from barking non stop
