ok so a few weeks ago we were at the in laws and Bailey smelled fine when we got there but towards the end of the night she start smelling like tuna, we figured she must of rolled in something and it made her smelly.

Tonight I was just playing with her and her rear end smells funky again like tuna?

Why is this?
she is on a strict diet as she has IBS. She only eats Hill's Z/D Ultra allergen - Free.
and the only treats she can have so far that don't give her bad stool is sweet potato and then i buy some of her food in cans and cut it up in squares and bake it.

So what is causing this bad smell.
Other fact is she does not go outside to roll around in anything as well. she is pee pad trained and we have snow in the back yard so nothing smells like fish.
hmm what other info am I missing. Oh she is not fixed yet and she is 10 months old but is getting spayed next month after christmas.

could it be that she is in heat and has a bad ordor??
Please give me ideas. It only happen twice now in two weeks but I am very curious why she randomly smells.
I also wash it away and it seems to be ok but still curious. I will call the vet to see his opinion tomorrow.
thanks for your input anybody?
