Yeah talk to the board. Usually they will say they are board certified, like a human doctor will. On his business card or ad in the yellow pages, etc. I think there are national boards and then local ones, plus you could complain to the state he is licensed in as well. It will do you no good to complain to the board if he is not certified with them, but he will have to have a license from the state to practice.
