Congrats on the new addition! I would also recommend belly bands. Kaji came home in August and the first thing he did when he was put on the floor is walk over to the couch and lift his little leg. Belly bands are a life saver and can easily be used as a tool to help curb the marking behavior. Combine belly bands with neutering and always keeping an eye on him to correct any leg lifting and you might be able to break him of that habbit. Some are harder to break from wanting to mark, some are easier. Either way we'll be here to help you out.
