Congratulations on your new girl!
I bathe Galahad in the kitchen sink as well, lol. It's just so much easier on my back. I also agree with doing bathtime when they're tired, they seem to be more willing to just stand there and let you do your thing. Galahad doesn't really fight the bath, but cleaning his face and combing him out are things he doesn't like. I just try to hold him snuggled against me for the face cleaning and talk to him very soothingly. Definitely try wrapping Miley in a towel to hold her more securely. The comb out though, nothing makes it any better for Galahad. He whines and yips and bites at the comb, even though I'm very, very gentle. After I finish, I he rubs himself all over the carpet mussing his fur back up, staring at me defiantly the whole time, lol. |
