The dew claws and tail was docked yesterday at 1 day old. Tail dock looked fine but the dew claw removal looked awful! I have always done them the next day as I take mom in to get checked over for my peace of mind especially w/ the complications this time. This vet just didn't do a good job on the dew claws at all. Last time the vet clamped, twisted the claw off and then quickstop'd it to stop bleeding. Wound was very small.

This time it looks like this other lady took scissors to the thing! The wound is very large and it kept bleeding and bleeding and she didn't stop the bleeding before we left. I held mom in the vet room and she took the pup out back to the surgical room since last time my momma dog tried to bite the vet when she heard her puppy crying so I don't know what she did but it looked painful and open. Like I said put super glue on it, got it to stop bleeding and cleaned it well before gluing. I just hope it doesn't get infected....
